So touched today! We had an awesome service at FBC, as Rabbi Greg Hershberg spoke ot our congregation during the Sunday school hour and worship.I learned so much about the Jewish heritage/culture that we as Christians have left behind. The fact is, Jesus was not Jewish, He IS Jewish. Jewish Christianity...how awesome!!
I am definitely going to be studying more about this, because it is all so interesting. The misconception that all Jews do not recognize Jesus as the messiah is nothing but untruth. Yes, there are many Jewish men/women that still practice Orthodox Judaism, and do not believe that Jesus is the messiah, but many, oh...they know the truth and what a blessing it is! This, Messianic Judaism, has really caught my interest.
I am so blessed to have met Rabbi Greg today and plan on tuning into his podcasts on my iPhone so that I can learn more about the way Jesus' taught and how God's word originally written in Hebrew, has an even deeper meaning than I have ever attempted to dive in to. I am eager to learn!
The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.
