Easter Eggs

Mills, with generous help from his mommy, dyed his Eggs yesterday afternoon.  Dyeing eggs is one of my favorite Easter pastimes.  The only plastic eggs we ever used, was when Mom and I tied string to them and hung them on our tree in the front yard.  As for hunting, we never had plastic egg hunts, and I loved that!

I remember the egg hunt that we used to have every Easter Sunday afternoon at church.  Everyone was to bring a certain amount of dyed eggs.  The eggs were collected, hidden, and off we'd go!  There was always a winner, of course, but we always got our own eggs back to take home.   How I miss those days!
Mills is off to his very first egg hunt this morning.  I'm sure he will have a blast.  As for tomorrow, he and Lainey will hunt their dyed eggs at Pop and Dee's house.  A tradition started last year.

Blowing them dry!

I tried to get creative again, but I made more of a mess than anything.
