The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.

It's a BOY!
We are finally back from our Dr's appointment and are pleased to announce that a bouncing baby boy is on the way! 40% of you were right, while the other 59% out of 86 votes were wrong, but who can really tell? Well, with today's ultrasound, it was very obvious! LOL!

Joey turns 6!
Today is our 1st child's birthday. He is 6 years old, well actually 42 years old in dog years. Boy, he's getting a little old. I thought I saw some gray in his muzzle-hehe! And to answer your question, NO, we don't go all out with cake and a birthday present! LOL! However, starting today, our Joey will be BACK on his Nutro dog food. You know, the dog food I swore that I was never going to buy again on this post back in January. Well, he has been eating new food for the past 2 weeks. Erik and I did some searching, and then Baker helped us out with a new food choice, but it is not working out. Oh, don't get me wrong. Joey loves the taste of his new food, but an extra gassy dog with extremely BAD breath, who continuosly whines and needs more than the usual 3-4 potty breaks a day is not happening! LOL! So, Nutro, you win!

Happy Anniversary
Seven years ago today, I married my best friend. I can remember the day like it was yesterday. I was as calm as calm could be, I took a 2 hour nap that day, and couldn't have been more relaxed. I guess you could say that I was completely on cloud nine. I can't believe that it has been 7 wonderful years. I am extrememly lucky to have my E. We are still celebrating our honeymoon and I know it will continue, baby or not.
As I look back at our wedding pictures, it is amazing to see how much we have changed. We look so young. I was 1 month from turning 23, and Erik had turned 23 in the fall of the previous year. That seems so young. We just thought we were so old! hehe

100th Blog Post & 50 Facts About My Pregnancy.
Well, I've finally made it to my 100th blog post. So, in honor of it I have decided to share some crazy experiences and thoughts.
In my 4 1/2 months of being pregnant. I have heard it all, read it all, and seen it all. I have heard more advice than any book, magazine, or experienced mother can ever tell me, but I have come to find that each and EVERY pregnancy is totally different from the next. So, with all of that said I will share with you the many things that I am learning and experiencing so far. All of these things have caused me to have complete disbelief about anything anyone or any book has ever told me. LOL
1. Nausea doesn't always happen in the 1st trimester...no sirree, I am a witness to this. My 2nd trimester has welcomed the nausea just fine thank you.
2. Headaches do happen
3. The pencil-thread and needle test is only for fun.
4. Just because I am carrying in the front or the sides, or high, or low, has NOTHING to do with the sex of the baby.
5. The fact that I haven't been sick has NOTHING to do with the sex of the baby.
6. The fact that I have craved sweets and spicy foods have NOTHING to do with the sex of the baby.
7. Weird dreams...they're here!
8. Baby furniture prices. Are you kidding me?
9. Babies R' Us will make you lose your mind.
10. Deli meat, its good stuff, and if I get listeria, it was only meant to be. I've been eating turkey for 31 years and it hasn't killed me yet.
11. People literally have the guts to say, "Are you pregnant?" I so want to answer, "no."
12. Maternity pants are no fun. They should sell suspenders with them.
13. Pickles were wonderful.
14. Ice cream is wonderful.
15. Cutting out my coffee and other caffeine wasn't that bad
16. My hormones are whacko.
17. Insecurity has set in.
18. Baby strollers are way to big and bulky.
19. Baby B no longer likes orange juice with breakfast.
20. My baby's heartbeat at 168bpm does NOT mean its a girl!
21. My dog will not be jealous. Scared of the baby maybe, but NOT jealous.
22. People will actually tell you that they don't like the name you have chosen for your child.
23. The "Baby Bargains" 7th Edition by Denise & Alan Fields is the best book ever.
24. Chocolate is pretty darn good right now.
25. I can't get enough salad with Ranch dressing.
26. I am not dreading the fact that I will be "very pregnant during the long hot summer." I absolutely hate cold weather.
27. Old Navy maternity rocks!
28. People will actually ask you why you're "just now having a child at 30 years old." It's not like I get the senior citizens drink at McDonald's. LOL
29. I am 18 weeks pregnant and not 100% sure that I have felt my baby yet. hmmm?
30. I want to sleep on my stomach and can't
31. Watching Cesarean sections on Discovery Health makes me queasy...until the baby is out and then I bawl of course...that is not my preferred method of delivery, but what ever will be, will be.
32. I am excited about child birth classes and glad that hubby is very willing to participate :)
33. People will actually ask you how far along you are (which is fine), but then when I tell them they say, "Whoa, you're big for 4 months." Look, I have no where for this baby to go. I am 5' tall, size 0 and weighed 110 when this all started. What am I to do about it. hehe!
34. Pregnancy has made me extremely inclined to say what I think, sorry!
35. For me, the "pregnancy glow" means extremely dry skin, tons of blemishes, a few pimples here and there, and terrible chapped lips.
36. Prenatal vitamins do not make me sick
37. Boobs...not sore. hehe! I know TMI, but lets be serious
38. A healthy diet and exercise are part of my daily regimen. NOT! Okay, so I'm not doing too bad.
39. I miss my HOT baths.
40. Cocoa butter smells terrible!
41. Flonase is my best friend when it comes to those "swollen mucus membranes"
42. Potty breaks are way to frequent
43. The Chinese gender chart is bull
44. The pregnant women on the babyzone and baby center message boards are nutty and paranoid. Oh I am so amused
45. I find it amusing that my baby is compared to a different fruit or vegetable everyweek, therefore he/she has been named many different things every week. i.e. Vidalia and Peacharina...(lol, Amanda H.)
46. There are too many carseats, strollers, highchairs, etc. to choose from. Give me a break!
47. I am terrified that I won't be able to breast feed
48. I am already dreading going back to work after the baby is born
49. I am thankful that I already have child care
50. Last but not least, I can't believe that we will know our baby's gender in 11 days. (at least I hope we will!)

Today, a very exciting event took place, that will be by far the most important decision made by our little JH! Last Saturday, Stephanie messaged me to let me know that JH had accepted Christ and was going to be baptized next Sunday (today). Of course I would never miss this, so this morning I made my way down to Collierville for lunch and an intimate after church service of baptism with JH's family and close friends. Erik was unable to attend due to work, so I represented both of us there today.
