We have been in our house for 2 years now, but every once in a while, Joey will notice something that he's never seen before. For instance, the smoke detectors, the chime box to the door bell, the vase arrangement on top of our bathroom linen closet, and so on. I received a beautiful cross at our Sunday school Christmas party last year and right after I hung it on the wall, he immediately noticed it. He gets seriously upset when he finds something new, even if its been there awhile.
Tonight as Erik and I were getting ready to head out for dinner, we were in the closet gathering a few clothes and Joey began to look up toward the ceiling and whine. We couldn't figure out what he was barking at, but soon realized that it was the closet door latches. He is such a crazy dog! Soon after we moved into our house, which is brick with slurry covering it, we noticed that a golf ball had hit right above our back porch door, resulting in a small chip. It isn't that big of a spot, so we haven't done anything about it yet, needless to say, Joey discovered it last week and was barking mad!

The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.

ok, you need to get that dog into a drug sniffing program! if he can pinpoint door latches, i'm sure he can find some drugs in the back of a car!
How funny!
Joey is a beautiful dog...
