The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.

The Search is On
Mills is about 3 lbs. shy of needing a "big boy" car seat, and at the rate he's going, it won't be long. I have been searching and doing A LOT of reviewing. I have talked to a few moms and gotten a ton of opinions, but just wanted see what my fellow blogger moms thoughts are as well, before making my final decision. We WILL get a Britax, and I am going to be EXTREMELY picky about what kind of car seat he is riding in, but my question is: For those of you who have Britax car seats, which one did you get, and why? When I think about the safety of my baby boy, the fear of a side impact collision scares me, even though he's in the middle, and I want to know what your thoughts are. Mills will be in this car seat for quite some time, until he's big enough to ride in mommy's built in booster seat. We will get a nicer one for my car, and will probably step down a bit for Erik's truck. Any opinions?

Ok for my car we have the Britax Boulevard Onyx for Rylan and had it for Holden too and LOVE it. Holden is now in the Britax Parkway booster seat, LOVE it too! We bought the Boulevard Davenport seat for Kevin car on sale at Babies R Us and was sooo disappointed and ended up selling it on Ebay. It was too small and both kids complained that it was too tight. It did not adjust well and really was not built to grow with the kids. I would stay away from that one, otherwise I think Britax is the way to go...pricey but the best!!! Hope this helps.
i've got the Boulevard...It is a little bulky. Baker has the diplomat in his truck.... I kind of like it better because it is not so bulky! But, both have been great!
