There is only one thing that I dislike about my hubby's profession as a firefighter. If his shift falls on a holiday, birthday, etc. he has to work. Unfortunately, this year, E had to work Christmas day. He gets up very early, and so I planned to get up with him and wake Mills to see what Santa had brought. I kept my fingers crossed, because normally, if I have to wake him, he is NOT in a good mood. This morning, while E was getting dressed, I walked upstairs to get our sleeping little prince. He sat up as soon as I walked into his room and said, "Hey!" and so I knew all was good.
E waited at the bottom of the stairs and as we reached the bottom, Mills saw his load of gifts. He had the cutest confused look on his face, then threw his arms up and made the "huh?" sound. Setting him down he walked over, looked, and didn't know what to head to first. It was a great morning, and I am happy to say that all went smoothly.

Loving his little "ball pit."

The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.
