Although it was a bit chillier than last year, and we ran into a few isolated showers, it did not spoil our fun.
These cousins sure do love each other!
We started with the pig races. This year, we were on the red team. Our pig won the first race!
We even ran in to my friend Rachel, and her boys. Her youngest, Mills' friend Jax, is 20 days older than Mills. Look! It's twins!!
We then headed up to ride the train and while we were waiting in line, thunder made its way in to the area. No fun spoiled here!
Then on to the petting zoo...
The chicken show...
And what Mills had been waiting on ALL WEEK. The pony rides. Due to rain. They moved the horses and ponys back into their stalls, but let Mills ride up and down the stable. They were sooo nice to him and he had a ball.
These guys definitely deserve an applause for being the best pony ride operators ever!
As we headed back toward the hayride, we ran in to "the boys." Our best friends, the Cranford's were there too!
Finally on our way to the pumpkin patch via hayride.
But not before stopping at the pirate ship.
Mills tries to tackle this "way to hebby (heavy)" pumpkin.
An attempt to pull one off the vine.
I got it dude!
Lainey makes her way through the pumpkin stand with her cart!
THE END!
of a fantastic day!
The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.
