If I Weren't So Picky...

I would have probably picked out my baby bedding, had it ordered, and painted Mills' nursery. Let's face it. I have always had my baby boy/baby girl dream nurseries pictured in my mind, and that's all fine and dandy until I actually have to do a nursery. Several years ago, I was in love with Pottery Barn's firetruck crib set. Well its been about 5 or 6 years since it even existed, and is no longer available of course. Every other firetruck crib set that I find is ugly and way to "themed." I'm not into those nurseries that have coordinating everything like lamps, valances, bedding, hampers, and the whole sha-bang. Ugh! I was also in love with their Cherry Blossom bedding as well, and I can still find it, but it's for a girl and just won't do. I have searched the Internet high and low and everything I even half-way like is over $900. That is absolutely crazy! Nope...not paying that people! I always figured that I would get my bedding from PB baby, since I am a confessing PB addict, but nothing really jumps out and grabs my attention. I've never been into primary colors, but it seems that is where everything is going now. I can find 1000 bedding sets that I like for girls, but baby boys are just so hard. Any suggestions?

It is that way sis. If you were having a girl you would see 1000 baby boy sets you loved. I just love the choc and blue stuff... If I had a boy at this point I would do blue and brown squares, circles and triangles on the and do solid bedding with coord. colors.... Okay so here is my idea but hey----I am not pregnant you are.... :-)

Yes, the prices are entirely too high. I had that in my head too. So I thought I was going to be smart and buy my own fabric and have a friend of the family make it. Well, it ended up the same price as ordering it. Sorry for the negative news.

My advice? Just get what you want and call it doing your part to keep the economy thriving!

If Holden had not "worn out" his crib set I would have given it to you-it was firetrucks from PBK. Have you look on ebay? I bought a replacement sheet from there and it was in the original packaging-just a thought. I bought Rylan's farm set from Babysupermall.com (if you find something you like sign up for it and they will send you a discount code for 15-20% off) good luck!

Hi, Congrads on the baby. Since you love birds do his room in birds and things that go with birds. Solid color bedding with all the birds colors would be pretty. Just an opinion. Brenda whittington

Im afraid I don't have too many suggestions for you..but if you havent checked JCPenny.com...they had more choices than I had imagined...and thats where I ended up getting Reagan's bedding from. Cute little butterfies and lady bugs. But good luck on the hunt. I feel like I looked FOREVER!! LOL :)
