No, this is not a thumbs up for passing my 3 hour glucose tolerance test. As a matter of fact, it is probably what my fingers are going to look like on a daily basis for the next 10 weeks. I cannot believe this! Nurse called today and said that "doc" has not yet reviewed my results, but my blood sugar was high again and that more than likely they would call me back tomorrow and tell me that I would need to attend a class on how to properly check my blood sugar on a daily basis. AccuCheck, meet Amy. Amy, meet AccuCheck. You mean to tell me that with all of these upcoming baby showers with cake, I am going to limited to eating it? This is sooo not fair! Any advice from any of you fellow gestational diabetics?

The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.

Oh girl...I'm so sorry. I passed my test by about 2 points with both babies...so I've got nothing for you. Hang in there!
I would have traded my complications for gestational diabetics any day of the week. So, I have don’t have any advice for you, I’m sorry. I hope it’s not too bad.
Don't worry! I've got some sugar-free things up my sleeve and we can go walking together! Only 10 weeks to endure this :)
