Today, March 16, 2011, is a very special day. Nine years ago today, I was on cloud nine. I had not one worry in the world, and could not WAIT until 6:30 PM

I was dressed in white, topped with a veil, and having the time of my life with my girlfriends as we waited in a Sunday school room at my church. I could hear the music and my stomach fluttered, while at the same time, I didn't care about music, people, flowers, candles, or anything else for that matter. I just

could not wait to get to the end of that aisle and see my Erik. It was one of the most special days of my life, and to this very day, it still is.
I knew/know that Erik is the man that God hand-picked just for me. I knew at that very moment that he would take care of me, love me, and be my best friend until death do us part. After marrying my E, and having our precious Mills, I have

realized that nothing in this world matters. As we grow older, priorities change, and life happens. As I look around at this world, our temporary home, nothing matters to me but God and family. No matter what kind of house I live in, car I drive, profession I have, trip I take, or earthly possession can ever matter, because I have my God, I have my husband and son, and family and friends that are with me to the end. If this house were to immediately disappear, my car was to be stolen, if I lost my job, or all of my possessions were to be taken away, you know what...who cares? As long as I have my family and my awesome God, I don't need anything! That is all that matters to me. I want to live a simple, humble life, and pray for that every day. I want to make my husband and child happy, provide for them, and make sure that we live. That's it, LIVE happily. I wants needs to be taken care of instead of wants. I want to be a servant to God and set an example, and most of all provide.
On this anniversary, I am reminded of how so very blessed I am. I don't deserve any thing that I have been given, but my Gracious GOD loves me, and has blessed me so much. Every day, I try to remind myself of the good in life and not the bad. I shouldn't complain about anything, and should be grateful for my blessings.
Erik is the love of my life. Thank you Dear God for giving me this wonderful man. He deserves so much more credit than I could ever imagine giving him. He is a wonderful husband, helper, partner, father, protector, and most of all, he loves me. I am the luckiest girl. Mills, he is the luckiest little boy to have such an awesome daddy that loves him so much.
Happy Anniversary Erik!
Let us remember....
