The love of our lives was born on 8.13.09 and is the light of our lives. Mills is our happy, busy, typical little boy, who never slows down. He is a huge fan of Moose and Zee, Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse and loves playing with his "big-brother-dog," Joey. There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at this precious miracle given to us by God and sit in awe.

Mills' Dr. Appt.
I took Mills to the pediatrician today for a quick weigh-in. He had his 2 week check up on Friday, and it was revealed to us that he had only gained 1oz. since our visit to the lactation consultant = not good, but not necessarily bad either. Dr. Owen said that usually they like to see newborns get back to their birth weight by the time they are 3 weeks old. At 6lbs. 5oz, that only gave us a week to gain 5 more oz. Well, after 4 days and a few minor adjustments to his feeding routine and method, our little piggy gained 10oz in 4 days! Talk about one happy mommy! Not only did he gain back to his birthweight, but he surpassed it by 5 oz. Yay! Our sweet baby boy now weighs 6lbs. 15oz.

Thats great. We need to get together so Reagan and Mills can meet. Are you seeing Dr. Owen @ Peds east? That is Reagans doctor!! I just love him, hes so calm! and he has been wonderful. He found that Reagan had a broken collar bone @ birth and sent us to an orthopedic, then he sent us to La Bonheur for an ultra sound to check for pyloric stenosis, cause she has been spitting up so much. HE has been so great to us!! Reagan weighed the same as Mills at birth and weighed 7 lbs @ her 2 week check up, so they seem to be on the same page. Hope to talk soon!!
